Nourishing young children with delicious, nutritious meals since 2002.

For us, it has always been about more than food. It’s about the foundation years - the years that shape identity, confidence, wellbeing and lifelong habits. We believe the meals children eat during this time should do more than satisfy hunger. They should nourish growing bodies, support developing minds and open the door to new experiences.

Kids Gourmet Food began in a small kitchen with a simple belief: children deserve real food, thoughtfully prepared and served with care.
Over time, that belief has grown into a deeper purpose - to support early education environments not just nutritionally but developmentally.

As a chef, our Founder always viewed food as an experience. It tells stories, introduces cultural diversity and builds connection. As a father, he understands the responsibility we share in those early years to help shape healthy relationships with food that last a lifetime.

Our philosophy is simple:
Support strong foundations. Inspire adventurous palates.

Every meal we create is guided by the understanding that food plays a vital role in achieving the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) 5 key outcomes:

1. Nurturing children’s strong sense of identity by introducing diverse flavours, ingredients and cultural cuisines.

2. Fostering respect for diversity and inclusion by providing balanced, nutrient rich meals that are also multicultural, supporting children to connect and contribute to their world and the community of others.

3. Promoting physical health, energy and resilience by sparking curiosity about ingredients, textures and where food comes from, aligning with children having a strong sense of wellbeing.

4. Supporting children to be confident and involved learners through shared mealtimes that encourage conversation, routine, and social development.

5. Contributing to children becoming effective communicators through positive food experiences that encourage conversation and build independence at mealtimes.


We don’t simply deliver meals. We partner with Early Learning Centres to create environments where food becomes part of the learning journey - where children are encouraged to explore new flavours safely, build confidence bite by bite and develop habits that support lifelong health. Today, our dedicated team of chefs prepare every meal, across NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD with care, purpose and pride.

Each menu is thoughtfully designed to fuel growth, support curriculum outcomes and cultivate joyful food experiences. When children are nourished in their foundation years they thrive physically, socially and emotionally.
